Harry Potter

Scott just finished the first four Harry Potter books - Christmas gift from Celina. So now we bought the final 3 books in the series. Not sure he can finish them in the next three months, but he has definitely become a big fan of the wizard.

New TV!

Just bought a new TV set yesterday. It's a 46' Samsung, the right size for our family room. In today's standard a bigger TV like 55' may still fit in but we want to room not to be dominated by a black box. After we connected to old cable box and dvd player, the results were not as good as we saw in the store. Looks like we have to upgrade to HDTV and a new blu-ray player.

Another Piano Contest for Scott

Scott just played in another musical contest here. He played pretty well (measured against his skill level) and showed no nerve at all. Great for confidence building. He got 84 marks and probably finished 5 out of 8 contestants.

Scott 仔係March break時報咗個五日溜冰班(毎日一個鐘)。真係比佢學成,重有少少瘾潻。細路仔學呢啲野真係快。而家俾啲片大家睇吓。

煮飯仔續集

又要繼續實驗煮餸。呢嗰星期試吓以下幾味,大部份都OK,有啲小瑕玼咁啦。


三色甜酸菠蘿雞係今次嘅代表作,好味到SCOTT仔連牙都食到甩埋。擺街都應該幾好賣。

 絲瓜瘦肉湯 - 都約好味。衰在太落粉絲,索晒啲水,lesson learned。重有啲絲瓜食咗會有啲痕。


薯仔炆雞翼 - 唔好睇但係好食。

冬瓜瑤柱湯 - 都約好。不過落多咗陳皮,啲湯苦咗。我就覺得甘甘哋幾好味。Scott 就...

煮飯仔

呢個月Michellei放大假,不得不重拾镬鏟,做吓大廚。喺INTERNET左搵右搵,跟住啲菜譜煮,又唔係咁難噃。開頭overcook, undercook, 甜啲鹹啲就在所難免。不過兩星期後嘅今日,總算掌握到一啲技巧。最近重搵到<通之廚房>就更加得心應手。因為佢又係住喺加拿大,所以佢寫嘅材料好易買。加上佢又後生啲,口味同我甚至SCOTT 都接近啲。而家俾大家睇吓我啲大作啦。

第一日嘅芥蒸蘭炒牛肉都過得去,嗰蕃茄薯仔排骨湯就好好飲。

 呢味蒜蓉豆豉四色鷄SCOTT仔好欣賞,係咁食停唔到咀。

 雜菜湯都好掂喎。

其他試整過嘅菜色有;竹輪粟米豆腐羹(成功),蕃茄炒蛋(失敗),中式牛仔骨(麻麻),韓式牛仔骨(麻麻),豆豉蒸排骨(麻麻),改良上海湯麫(成功),節瓜瑤柱排骨湯(成功)等。
